I tried to get into the exercise mood during this stay-home period. It's not easy because I don't have the habit of exercising. "When I can sit, I don't stand. When I can lie down, I don't just sit." Anyways, I came across the Chloe Ting's 2 weeks challenge and
I tried it out!! Yes, yes, I know there are people roasting about her and all but, my main purpose was to MOVE. I dont know much about postures and all but since there are so many people doing it, why not try it? I won't end up breaking my arms or legs right?
Being very serious with this new hobby, I waited and waited for my yoga mat to come and finally, it was the start of the 14 days. Honestly, the 1st day was shockingly tiring (maybe bc I have not been exercising since JC days?) but yes I was super tired and tired...
I continued on, following through the 14 days without fail and did my weight or fats go away? Read on the find out! Here's a summary of the challenge:
1) Did my weight drop? No, it went up (hopefully it's due to muscle mass and not the fried chicken found here 🙂)
2) Did my fats go away? I think, maybe my thighs became skinnier. But my food baby is still there tho...
3) Did abs appear? I wished...but nah. I knew this 14 days won't perform magic but, I will continue to do exercises to find my abs!
4) Overall? I think it was a good starting point to get back to exercising. (not joking, I used to exercise twice a week, each session 3 hours, it's called CCA) I will probably not do the 14 days challenge again but some of my favourite sets will be staying with my routine.
5) How has exercising changed me? It forces me to allocate a time period for exercising, ensuring that I don't overwork or overplay. In general, just benefits in my life!
So, if you're looking for abs to appear after 14 days, I'm sorry, you're in the wrong place but if you just want to move, the 14 day challenge is just nice, for you to be motivated and stick towards the end.
