june favourites | 2020

In this section, I will be sharing about 3 of my favourite items of the month--June!

1) Airpods/Wireless earphones

Because I will be having online classes very often, I decided to get wireless earphones so that it's more convenient.

Verdict: It's not just more convenient, it is so much more convenient! As I'm typing this, I am using my airpods too. Because my devices are mostly from Apple, for easy and a more stable bluetooth connection, I chose Apple's airpods. I can listen to songs even when I'm washing dishes in the kitchen! Without the wire, I can move freely across the room to take my stuff without having to miss out on any content the lecturer is talking about! Do consider choosing a wireless one the next time you get a earpiece.

Here's a short story, I used to own the sudio wireless earpiece, but lost the left side after 2 months of use. If you're someone who loses stuff easily, staying with wired ones might be a better choice.

2) Atomic Habits by James Clear

Since I am at home a lot more often, I finally have the time to relax and read my books.

Verdict: It's a practical and useful book that teaches step-by-step how to get 1% better every day. The book focuses on 4 main laws.

1) Make it obvious.

2) Make it attractive.

3) Make it easy.

4) Make it satisfying.

This book provides many examples around the 4 laws to give readers a better sense of how to build good habits and break bad ones. It is easy to follow, the length of each chapter is just right, making it easy to digest. At the end of each chapter, there's a chapter summary, to help highlight the important points, how thoughtful! I really recommend this book to anyone who is feeling unmotivated, lost or people who wants to stop procrastinating.

3) Zebra Sarasa Clip Gel Pen - Vintage edition

I believe everyone enjoy doing work when writing with their favourite pen, right? Throughout my school days, I always look for the best pen at Popular.

Although my favourite pens tend to change depending on the content I write most, but this pen have always stayed on my list. Specifically, this vintage edition. The pen is smooth, price is affordable, and the unique color is just right which makes writing notes more fun than usual! I do agree that it is not entirely suitable for primary school or secondary school, but those times are already far from me...

For anyone who is looking for pens for school or work or just for diary entries, look out for these in the stationary section! It will definitely make your writing 10x nicer!

If vintage is not your style, you can consider checking out their classic, metallic or milk series!
